Looking at the Day of Judgement from a Mathematical Perspective

Many people desire eternal life, but often approach it with a worldly mindset, leading them to a dead end. Those who have faith tend to end the discussion by relying on their beliefs. How-ever, those without beliefs often find themselves in a mental im-passe, with no clear way out. In our discussions, we will provide examples of the logic behind near-eternal concepts in mathe-matics.
How can eternal life of heaven be achieved in a short life of 60 or 70 years? To establish this theory in our minds, we can share an example that is easy to understand, and use natural in-teger numbers and mathemati-cal facts.
Natural numbers start with 0, 1, 2, 3, .. and do not end. Integers are counted as .., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, .. .As can be seen, integers include natural numbers. Real numbers likewise include inte-gers, fractions, and decimals. For example, if we take a line between -1 and 1:
In the above numbered line, if we are being asked, how many natu-ral numbers there are? We say two {0, 1}. How many integers do we have? In response, we say three {-1, 0, 1}. However, when we say how many real numbers there are between -1 and 1, we say infinite because, between -1 and 1, we can find infinite frac-tional numbers such as 0.5, 0.7, -0.1, etc. So, we can achieve infini-ty from such a short distance.
On the other hand, if we com-pare the distance between -1 and 1 with the infinite distance be-tween negative and positive, it is so small that it is almost non-existent. Even though the dis-tance between -1 and 1 seems tiny compared to infinity, it can lead us to eternity when we think about it in terms of real numbers.
Let's use this as an example and compare it to our real lives; in our short lives, we have many works to be done, goals and aspi-rations that cannot be counted. However, if we only focus on ful-filling our desires, we may face consequences on the Day of Judgement (Day of Resurrec-tion). But if we align our inten-tions and efforts towards pleasing Allah, our actions can lead us to
infinity and eternal life. However small our actions as between -1 and 1 will yield infinity, thus if we set our intention and effort as real numbers we will reach near infinite values. Think of 80 years where we count the years as 1, 2, 3 until 80, but if we count the months of a year, the days of a month, the hours of a day, the minutes of an hour, the seconds of a minute and the moments of a second. We can turn it into thou-sands of years in a moment with pure thoughts and intentions and achieve eternal life in Paradise by the grace of Allah.
Man is the architect of his own destiny. Every deliberate action we take has consequences, and if we approach life with good inten-tions, our actions will bear fruit beyond our years. Conversely, if we act without purpose or inten-tion, we risk facing the conse-quences of our actions in the af-terlife. By living a life that is fo-cused on pleasing Allah and per-forming our actions of worship, we become elevated beyond the mundane and are granted the op-portunity to attain eternal suc-cess and behold the beauty of Allah.
